This approach reflects the actual environment in which the packaging will be stored and shipped. Record the odor intensity and note whether it changes after ventilation or extended enclosure.
Surface inspection should cover color, pile direction, fiber coverage, loose fibers, stains, bonding uniformity, and resistance to rubbing. Use instrumental color measurement where batch-to-batch consistency is critical, and perform abrasion or pile adhesion tests when the lining will experience repeated contact with products or packaging components.
A documented inspection plan that combines dimensional, chemical, visual, and functional checks helps confirm that gift box flocking lining is suitable for its intended use before mass production or shipment.
